Wrexham University seeks to appoint a full-time Senior Lecturer in Civil Engineering to join the existing team in the delivery of undergraduate Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, and Architectural Design Technology programmes currently delivered on site at Wrexham Plas Coch campus.
The successful candidate will be a Chartered Civil Engineer and a corporate member of a professional body recognised by the Joint Board of Moderators, and should be competent in several relevant civil engineering contexts, primarily structural engineering, and additionally geotechnics and/or fluid mechanics.
Candidates will be expected to possess or be willing to work towards the attainment of a PG Certificate in Teaching in HE, and the ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable. Candidates will also be expected either to possess or to be prepared to work towards an earned PhD in a context appropriate to the Built Environment subject area.
