Are you a marketing professional with a track record of creating and delivering a strategy for a customer driven business? Do you have experience leading and implementing a retail marketing strategy in a customer led environment? If yes – you’ll want to read on… We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Regional Marketing Business Partner to support our venues in the Scotland & North East of England. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be the primary owner of the marketing plans for each of your assigned venues, driving towards local and national revenue targets and ladder up to the General Managers business plans and areas of focus.

As our Regional Marketing Business Partner, you will:

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to understand the national business strategy and ensure that any relevant campaigns opted into at a local level are executed and maximized locally.
  • Work closely with the general managers to develop local marketing plans across all customer value segments (including HVC), which bring their venue propositions to life, meet their local challenges and drive towards specific venue targets.
  • Offer consultancy around the best marketing approach to take, how to measure success and share ideas with the central team so that they can be rolled out across the estate.
  • Create a business partner relationship with the general managers so that you are entrusted to be subject matter expert and the driver of their local marketing plan.
  • Work collaboratively with the casino General Managers to support the facilitation of events and hospitality (internal, external and gifting) for customers within the HVC cohort in line with company policies, procedures and in alignment with the HVC Marketing team.
  • Liaise with slots, poker and sports marketing managers as subject matter experts and ensure their knowledge and input is embedded in all local marketing plans.
  • Engage with approved suppliers and agencies to seek resources or materials that you require at a local level.
  • Ensure all venue plans are created in a clear and consistent way across venues.
  • Ensure clear ROI analysis is undertaken on local promotions (for all value segments) so that success can be confidently shared, and activity replicated across venues.
  • Seek support and training to ensure you can confidently check all local marketing is in line with any compliance regulations.
  • Work closely with the central marketing team to understand the wider brand strategy and ensure that local activity supports and ladders up to central brand goals.
  • Take ownership of ensuring that the brand standards live at a local level across all channels including in venue and social media channels.
  • Build close relationships with the full marketing team to understand the national marketing calendar (including HVC) and ensure it’s clearly understood and implemented at a local level.
  • Ensure HVC activity is delivered and aligned with HVC strategy in agreement with the Head of HVC.
  • Support the HVC Marketing team in driving engagement with venues teams in the execution of National HVC campaigns and activity.
  • Complete enhanced SG & AML training as required for HVC.
  • Represent the marketing team at club level to ensure our operational teams are excited and aligned with the brand vision and understand the direction of travel.
  • Engage and develop relationships with wider marketing team/agencies including PR, Social Media, CRM and Promotions.
  • Create and implement innovative and engaging retail marketing content.
  • Build and develop relationships with Retail Operations team, General Managers and Online and Mobile teams.
  • Understand and bring to Grosvenor best in class retail marketing.
  • Make the Brand ‘come alive’ by being the brand champion and guardian in club.
  • Ensure all initiatives are fully compliant with all gambling and marketing legislation, HVC policy, industry guidance, internal protocols and are always in line with our socially responsible approach.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in a hospitality, leisure/multi-venue business.
  • Proven retail marketing innovator with a track record of creating and delivering a strategy for a customer driven business.
  • Experience of leading and implementing a retail marketing strategy.
  • An excellent communicator across all levels within the organization with ability to influence and manage key stakeholders.
  • Worked in innovative brand team and have clear evidence of delivering success.
  • Knowledge of leisure and gaming sector an advantage.
  • Experience in customer led environment essential.
  • Evidence they can drive and deliver change with a desire to make a difference.
  • Deep understanding of retail channel environment.
  • Experience in the delivery of High Value Customer activity.
  • Implemented, developed and understood ROI analysis.
  • Experience of managing marketing projects and delivering on time and to budget.
  • Marketing qualification helpful but not essential.
  • Ability to maintain effective work performance when dealing with stressful and demanding situations – resilient and effective under pressure.
  • Full driving license and able to travel (by car) within the Grosvenor Estate - this will involve overnight stays.
