This role is to join the relief team for our Highbury Lodge Day Nursery in Hitchin, with the option to provide relief cover at other nurseries. As a Relief Nursery Practitioner (qualified), you will provide relief cover for team holidays, training, and other staff leave, working with all age groups (0-5 years) across the nursery. Shifts may be offered in advance or at short notice, and you can decline shifts if you have other commitments.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is naturally nurturing, caring, and compassionate.
- Holds an early years qualification and has experience caring for children under five, ideally in a nursery environment.
- Can be a positive role model to the children.
- Enjoys contributing within a busy team environment.
We offer an hourly pay rate of £11.88-£13.11 for those qualified to level 3 or above, and £11.83 for those qualified to level 2. Benefits include:
