At Home Instead, we are known for the award-winning, high-quality care that we provide. Care Assistants within Home Instead are known as Care Professionals. Their care and support enable our clients to live independently and happily in their own homes. We match you to clients' personalities and interests, so you can develop a working friendship with regular clients.
Looking for a new career can be daunting, but with Home Instead, it all starts with a friendly chat. Don’t worry if you have no experience, as we will train and support you. Many of our Care Professionals come from various backgrounds; in particular, people from retail and hospitality have fitted perfectly into our relationship-led care. Do you have a spare 5-15 hours free each week, have availability every other weekend & want to make a difference in someone’s life? If so, we may have the perfect job for you. With minimum visits of one hour, award-winning training, and our excellent reputation, Home Instead (East Lancashire) is immensely proud of the quality of care we provide.
As a Home Instead Care Professional, every day is different as every client is different. Some of your visits will be home help, making a meal, and time spent chatting or engaging in activities. Another visit could be going out shopping, to an appointment, or providing dignified personal care so your client can feel themselves again.
Qualifications
- No Experience? No Problem: we offer in-house training to get you up to speed.
- Communication Skills: Written and spoken English is essential.
- Transportation: Reliable transport is required for home visits, errands, activities, and shopping.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational and time-management skills are key.
- The Right Attitude: A natural inclination for caring and forming positive relationships with clients and their families.
- Must be a UK resident with a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
- Working visas are not available for this role.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be 18 years or older.
