Role Overview

You will support the Information Security manager in ensuring Hastings\’ compliance with regulatory and legal obligations, working with the business to identify and manage technology, information, and cyber security risks. You will also assist with Operational Resilience activities, due diligence on third-party technology suppliers, and incident investigations. The role encompasses organizational security, people security, physical site security, and technical security controls.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Sound understanding of cyber and information security frameworks like NIST and ISO IEC 27002. Knowledge of PCI-DSS V4.0 is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of the current threat landscape related to Cyber, Privacy, and Security risks.
• Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems and find pragmatic solutions.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and management, ideally with experience in Enterprise-Wide Risk frameworks.

Qualifications

• Security certifications such as CISM, CISMP, CISSP, or equivalent are desirable.
• Relevant IT or security degree or practical experience.
