SQL Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join our dynamic teams. As a SQL DBA, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimisation of SQL databases within Hyperconverged Infrastructure environment (HCI), including the support of COTS applications that are reliant on SQL (MECM, WSUS, SCOM, etc).

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills within a scalable environment and demonstrate the ability to design, implement, and maintain identity access. SQL / DB Clustered Instances experience is essential to this role. Knowledge and use of other DB platforms (MariaDB, etc) desirable.

• Clearance: SC minimum / DV (or willing to undergo)

• High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Database Security Auditing
• Security Best Practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve database related errors and issues
• Experience of other database platforms such as MariaDB
