This is a great job for someone who has a good understanding of the investment management business, fund structures and processes, and a working knowledge of Investment Performance calculations and techniques.
A bit about the job:
We are seeking a Performance Oversight Analyst to serve as a key point of contact during escalations between our outsourced performance services team at BNY and internal stakeholders at AI, including Portfolio Managers and Investment Specialists. This role encompasses oversight of performance services across multi-asset, equity, fixed income, and illiquid portfolios, as well as the maintenance and reporting of GIPS composites. The analyst will also play a central role in supporting AI’s claim of compliance with GIPS standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking new and closed portfolios with BNY and aligning them with appropriate strategies and composites
- Leading the semi-annual or ad hoc GIPS forum
- Initiating and managing the annual GIPS verification process
- Maintaining AI’s GIPS policy documentation
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Ideally educated to A level and/or professional qualification. IAQ and/or IMC would be advantageous.
- Aladdin experience
- Performance Measurement experience related to Asset Management across both Public and Private asset classes
- Enthusiasm for, and comfort with, working in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining the quality and integrity of the investment data and working to tight deadlines.
