The role

Working with the Senior Associate Director, this role involves managing several properties for clients across the Central and SW England region.

The successful candidate will take immediate responsibility for managing their own clients and buildings, which may include overseas investors, UK institutions, and property companies.

Assist the Director in business development efforts to increase the team’s fee income through new business opportunities and cross-selling.

Support the Senior Associate Director in managing the team and coordinating wider services, including Facilities Managers and Client Finance staff.

The role involves liaising with a team of facilities managers, building managers, and the Helpdesk, as well as property management staff across BNP Paribas Real Estate and other business lines such as agency, lease advisory, building consultancy, and investment agency.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing some clients directly and supporting others
  2. Line management responsibilities for team members
  3. Providing high-quality property management services to clients and the Director
  4. Managing lease and tenancy schedules
  5. Liaising with clients, solicitors, and tenants regularly
  6. Attending tenant meetings
  7. Handling tenant applications and managing licenses
  8. Preparing reports for client meetings
  9. Monitoring and reporting service charge expenditure
  10. Collaborating with property management accounts on budgets, reconciliations, and rent reports
  11. Managing income arrears, recovery, invoice approvals, and property setup
  12. Conducting due diligence for acquisitions and disposals
  13. Participating in client and team meetings

Person specification

Candidates should have proven experience in commercial property management within the office sector, with client-facing responsibilities. Skills required include managing lease events, rent reviews, and expiries; proactive occupier application handling; understanding office market trends and workspace demands; property management accounting; and team collaboration.
