Case Worker

AA Euro Healthcare have partnered with a leading organisation to hire qualified and experienced Case Workers (relief) in Derry/L\’Derry.

Requirements:

• Third Level Qualification or equivalent in Social Care or a related discipline and/or
• A minimum of 2 years’ employment experience in a similar role (e.g., homelessness)
• Experience of supporting individuals who present with challenging behaviour
• Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs.
• Up to date training certificates is a plus (HSE land certificates)
• Full clean B driving license
• Must be eligible to work in Northern Ireland
• NISCC registration desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Have an understanding of what supports can be offered in homeless services to promote positive futures
• Have knowledge/experience of working with needs assessment, key working and support planning for service users
• Have a knowledge of the statutory and voluntary sector resources available to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness
• Understand the importance of Health and Safety standards in the delivery of services on a day-to-day basis.
• Knowledge of relevant statutory and voluntary agencies and the ability to network/liaise with all relevant bodies
• Knowledge and willingness to work within the guidelines of our vision, mission, and values.
