Fire and Security Service Engineer – £40,000+ OTE, Company Car

Location: Edinburgh and Surrounding areas

Salary: £36,000

OTE: £40‑45,000 with paid travel, call out and overtime

My national client is looking to recruit an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join their NSI Gold accredited team. You will be working alongside dedicated professionals who take pride in their work and reputation. You will be working on mostly commercial sites such as supermarkets.

• £36,000 basic (£40,000+ OTE)

Responsibilities – Fire And Security Service Engineer

• Servicing Fire alarm systems (both Analogue and Addressable)
• Servicing Intruder alarms, Access control and CCTV including IP
• Completing paperwork
• Being customer facing, dealing with customer requests
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Completing works in line with current legislation and British Standards
• Being part of the callout rota

Requirements – Fire And Security Service Engineer

• 2+ years\’ experience Servicing Fire and Security Systems – CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control and Fire alarm Systems
• Work to high British standards and within the retail / commercial sector being beneficial
• Full UK Driving Licence – no points desired
• Be able to pass security screening
• Desirable (not essential):
• Install & commissioning experience
• Qualifications such as 18th Edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC
• IP network understanding
