We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A Analyst to join our team. If you have experience of producing robust and accurate reporting, analysing financial and operational data to help gain a deeper understanding of business performance and aid commercial decision making and enjoy a fast-paced environment this may be the role for you.
This is a hybrid role working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office (Cheltenham) with the rest from home.
Responsibilities:
- Business partnering: Actively on hand for finance queries, financial analysis and support, personally managing these through to satisfactory conclusions.
- Proactively produce insightful MI and analysis to drive performance and aid decision making.
- Working with business leaders and our data team to develop insightful and effective PowerBI dashboards and reports.
- Reporting and MI: Produce high quality monthly flash income and P&L reporting at a reporting unit level; with supporting commentary.
- Support the production of monthly Group reporting and board papers.
- Responsible for tracking, reporting and explaining the performance of new initiatives, synergies and key cost categories.
- Planning & other: Actively support the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, owning key areas and aspects of the plan.
- Review and understand investment cases, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Supporting FP&A projects, initiatives and tasks as required.
Experience & Professional Qualifications:
- Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified however will consider part qualified individuals with experience in FP&A/Commercial Finance.
- Comfortable working autonomously within limited oversight.
- Exceptional analytical, excel and communication skills with tangible experience of using data and insight to tell a clear story and drive improvement.
- Experience using large data sets and PowerBI (or similar) is essential.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, grow focused environment, ideally in an insurance brokerage setting.
- Experience of using Acturis, Anaplan and OneStream is ideal but not essential.
