Bid Writer (Public Sector)£62,000 (dep on exp) + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 3 Christmas Closure Days Remote with regular travel to Manchester Full Time – Permanent We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bid Writer to lead the creation of high-quality, winning public sector bid submissions. This is a hands-on, home-based role with occasional travel to Manchester, ideal for a self-starter with excellent writing and project management skills. Manage and lead the production of winning bids and proposals across public sector markets. Lead storyboarding, drafting, editing, and submitting EOIs, SQs, ITTs, and final tenders. Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and continuously improve proposal content. Maintain a library of high-quality written content, including method statements and best practice responses. Monitor upcoming tender opportunities and keep informed on relevant market intelligence. Demonstrable experience leading and managing large-scale, winning public sector bids. Strong bid writing, editing, and communication skills with high attention to detail. Knowledge of public commissioning and procurement processes. Confident using online collaboration tools and Microsoft Office. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills. Comfortable working remotely and independently, while being part of a wider collaborative team.
