Well established trading brokerage is seeking a Senior Java Developer as they expand into UK markets. As a Senior Java Developer, you'll join a small technology team building Greenfield trading systems from scratch, working in a start-up environment with backing from the larger organisation. You'll take ownership, working across the full development lifecycle and will quickly see the impact of your work, developing high quality, scalable and secure trading applications with a focus on backend Java development and API implementation within an AWS environment.
Location / WFH: You'll join a team of finance entrepreneurs and technologists in City based offices with smart dress code on a fulltime basis.
About you:
- You are an experienced Java Developer with a strong knowledge of best practice and the full software development lifecycle.
- You have strong Spring Boot experience.
- You have a good knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases.
- You have experience of designing and implementing REST APIs.
- You are degree educated in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.
