We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering on-site services and support to customers for Condition Monitoring solutions or similar products. Preferably located in Rugby, UK, the successful candidate will have the chance to travel domestically and internationally.
The Field Service Engineer will be tasked with conducting services for Condition Monitoring solutions, specifically focusing on LIFEVIEW Partial Discharge equipment. This will include tasks such as installation, commissioning, testing, and generating reports. Additionally, the Field Service Engineer will provide assistance to our customers and various Quartzelec Business Units.
- Responsible for providing site services for online/offline condition monitoring solutions, including installation, commissioning, and training on high voltage equipment.
- Conduct online/offline measurements at customer sites.
- Ensure proper operation of test equipment and tools to seamlessly execute projects.
- Prepare technical reviews and write customer reports, such as Partial Discharge reports, commissioning reports, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners/contractors as needed to ensure project completion and site service delivery.
Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes
- Available to travel both within the UK and Internationally when required.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in delivering site services for condition monitoring solutions, with a preference for expertise in partial discharge monitoring.
- Familiarity with rotating machinery, high voltage systems, and their applications.
- Proficiency in MS-Office and MS Project software.
