Are you an Electrical Design Engineer who is looking for a new contract to start within the next 6 weeks? If so, please read on.

Essential Skillset:

  • At least 6 years experience as an Electrical Design Engineer producing single line diagrams, BOMs, cable calcs and schematics
  • Experienced using AutoCAD Electrical to produce electrical drawings such as cable design, control panel design, motor control centre design
  • Experienced in the full design lifecycle (concept through to detailed design)
  • Producing test documents for FAT (factory acceptance testing)
  • Experience producing detailed designs compliant with BS EN 60204 and BS7671
  • Working knowledge of electrical distribution equipment, MCC's and Siemens PLC's

Desirable (not essential) Skillset:

  • AC/DC drives systems knowledge and understanding
  • Hydraulic systems knowledge
  • Knowledge of Safety Related Control Systems to working to BS EN IEC 62061 or BS EN ISO 13849 standards
