They are seeking to employ a Graduate Civil Engineer to join their Water, Wastewater Infrastructure team. Our client has a multidisciplinary team of experts that spans diverse fields, including civil and structural engineering, water engineering, building services engineering, project management, building surveying, town planning, environmental specialists, and asset management. With a presence in over 400 locations worldwide, they combine the resources of a multibillion-worth company with a client-focused approach.
Your new role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Civil Engineer to become part of a vibrant and growing team. The main focus would be the delivery of projects, including wastewater and water projects, treatment works, sewer networks, pumping stations and draining schemes.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage in all project stages from inception to completion.
- Work with Senior engineers in conducting feasibility studies, designing, cost estimates, procurement, site supervision and the like.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure company compliance with legislation, regulations, and site procedures.
- A degree in Civil Engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microdrainage, and WinDes.
- Familiarity with implementing Eurocodes, the Specification for Highway Works, the Civil Engineering Specification for the Water Industry, and Sewers for Adoption.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with diverse individuals.
