Benefits:

  • Salary - £33,000 to £42,000 per annum DOE
  • Monday to Friday - Rotating shift pattern.
  • Shifts: Week 1 - 06:00 to 14:00 / Week 2 - 14:00 to 22:00
  • Fully onsite.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager on a daily basis.
  • Carry out routine and reactive repairs to meet or exceed deliverable targets.
  • Perform Electrical and Mechanical maintenance on plant and building equipment.
  • Complete electrical installations in a fast-paced factory environment.
  • Conduct electrical maintenance on both plant and building equipment.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated manufacturing plant equipment.
  • Implement, document, and report routine maintenance schedules for plant and machinery using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Assist all trades within the facility and complete mechanical repairs as needed.
  • Complete reactive work orders within set time parameters.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • (Desirable) 18th Edition Qualification.
  • Qualified to City & Guilds (Level 3) in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives and their associated motors or pumps.
  • Working knowledge of high-temperature ovens and blow molders.
  • Proficiency in PLC fault-finding.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Strong initiative, attention to detail, and pride in work quality.
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Strong practical maintenance background in manufacturing, production, or industrial environments.
