Zachary Daniels are assisting a client in the beauty sector with the appointment of a Supply Chain Manager. You will join a fast-growing premium brand leading supply chain performance and innovation across purchasing, planning, logistics, warehousing, and global distribution - ensuring operational excellence that supports ambitious sales and growth targets.
This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone currently operating as a Supply Chain Manager or Logistics Manager within the beauty or cosmetics sector.
What does the Purchasing Manager do:
- Own the full supply chain process from procurement through to delivery - ensuring product is delivered in full, on time, and to spec.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers, 3PL providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Continuously improve forecasting, planning, and inventory management to optimise stock holding and working capital.
- Lead the S&OP process to align demand with supply and drive performance.
- Collaborate with NPD and commercial teams to ensure flawless execution of new product launches.
- Manage stock across multiple global warehouses (UK, EU, USA), ensuring accurate levels and on-time replenishment.
- Deliver cost-effective logistics solutions while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Negotiate freight contracts and oversee compliance with customs regulations across key markets (UK, EU, USA, Canada).
- Support sustainability objectives through environmentally responsible supply chain practices.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small but high-performing team of planners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to business-wide operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar supply chain leadership role, ideally within wholesale/retail distribution.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of optimising supply chain performance.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Business One desirable).
- International supply chain exposure, particularly across Asia and Europe.
- Experience managing new product launches and global freight operations.
Package:
