We are seeking a Biomass Engineer to provide specialist support to our customers as part of our site service division. The successful field-based Biomass Engineer will have hands-on responsibility for servicing and repairing biomass boilers, fuel feed systems, and associated equipment, ensuring projects are delivered on time. This includes breakdown cover, scheduled servicing, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and Maintenance: Servicing, fault finding, and repairing industrial, commercial, and domestic biomass boilers.
  • Documentation: Complete and submit all work-related paperwork clearly and on time.
  • Problem-solving: Use your experience and knowledge to overcome onsite issues.
  • Health & Safety: Carry out work safely and diligently, complying with all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain supporting documents to assist with the role and to complete training courses designed for you.
  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a positive attitude and fully participate in regular training and development reviews.

About You

  • Experience: Previous experience working on biomass boilers or a strong mechanical or plumbing background.
  • Skills: Excellent mechanical skills with a background in heating and plumbing preferred.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays (approximately once a month).
  • License: Full UK driving license is essential.
