Lorien’s client, a top international consultancy firm, is hiring a Forensic Financial Data Analyst (Assistant Manager) to join their FS Forensic Financial Services practice, a key contributor to the Firm’s strategic growth initiatives. The team assists clients in assessing, assuring, reviewing, testing, and improving their financial crime systems using innovative Data Analytics tools and approaches. They have experienced rapid year-on-year growth since inception, with ambitious targets to maintain momentum and a strong pipeline of work, developing innovative market-leading solutions.
The role involves converting the existing pipeline, expanding current offerings, and developing technology propositions.
Role Description:- Develop the FS Forensic proposition aligned with market expectations.
- Deliver projects to high standards using financial crime knowledge and data analytics experience.
- Design and execute end-to-end testing of financial crime systems.
- Build and maintain relationships to promote FS Forensic services.
- Manage client engagements, ensuring high-quality, timely delivery.
- Scope projects, manage finances, mitigate risks, and review deliverables.
- Develop client relationships and identify business opportunities.
- Lead sales activities, including proposals and client presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Experience in financial crime systems testing, including screening, transaction monitoring, customer due diligence, and fraud detection.
- Risk management skills in project scoping, adherence to standards, and deliverable review.
- Data analysis skills with large datasets, familiarity with database management, reporting, and visualization tools.
- Strong SQL skills; Python knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with screening tools like FircoSoft, FICO, Actimize, LexisNexis.
- Project management experience balancing quality, planning, and costs.
- Business development experience, including proposals and contracts.
