Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant for a maternity cover. The position is based in Ilkeston and is due to commence Mid-March. This is around a 45 - 50 week contract which includes a 6 week handover period so you will be given the training and support required to complete the role to a high standard. Standard working hours are 08:30 - 17:00 (but some level of flexibility is available).
You will be responsible for:
- Invoicing
- Month-end (following check sheet)
- Credits following customer requests
- Central Billing
- Supplier invoicing
- Credit Claims
- Petty Cash
- Fine payments
- Vehicle tax
- General queries
- Ordering office sundries
- Setting up user accounts / amendments
- Scheduling Saturday rota
You must be familiar with Sage version 28, Microsoft Office and various in-house software. You can expect to earn between £13.00 - £15.00 per hour. To attain the upper level of salary, you must be comfortable with all duties and require minimal support.
