Part Time (25 hours per week) Permanent - Wilmslow
We are working closely with a fantastic business based in Wilmslow looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team (standalone) on a part time basis and work closely with the Senior Management Team. This role offers flexibility with hours and hybrid working also. Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from £45,000pa - £50,000pa (pro rata).
As a successful candidate you will play a crucial role in the financial health and success of the business. You will also be responsible for day-to-day processing of all financial information, year-end responsibilities, liaising with partners and HMRC and analysing business performance to make strategic decisions.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Prepare and analyse monthly accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Oversee and improve financial processes and controls.
- Liaise with external accountants for year-end financial statements and tax compliance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Assist in the development of financial strategies and business plans.
Requirements of the role:
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant/Finance Manager.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Strong experience in accounting software (Sage) and Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
