Your new client Signatus are partnering with an established and rising specialist consultancy in financial services, based in Belfast with offices across GB & Ireland. We are recruiting multiple Investment Compliance Associates roles considering professionals with 2+ years of experience. The company provides bespoke governance risk and compliance solutions across FinTech, FinCrime, Cyber, Technology, Funds, Asset Management, Payments and E-payments verticals. This role will suit any Investment Compliance Associates who are either Belfast, Ireland or GB based and willing to undertake some travel to Belfast or the UK on occasion.
Your new role: As an Investment Compliance Associate within the team, you are responsible for assisting and sometimes leading client engagements and managing a portfolio of clients. You will undertake sectoral analysis research that feeds into high-quality client insights and informs departmental strategy. You will work collaboratively with other teams in financial crime, technology risk, and regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will support other stakeholders in developing and presenting strategy to the board and Executive Committee; support Senior Associates and Directors within the department; and assist with pitch decks for both internal and external stakeholders.
All about you: A background in any of the key verticals that they operate in is essential, and all applicants with prior experience in a client-facing compliance consultancy capacity will be highly desirable. Ideally, we are interested in those candidates with big 4 consultancy experience or notable in-house names, with a background in CASS, MiFid, Financial Promotions, PRA, or Compliance Monitoring. Ideally, you can offer 2+ years of experience consulting on governance, risk, and compliance matters (greater remuneration for client-facing consultancy experience). Have experience working in FinTech, Fin Crime, Technology risk, advisory, assurance, or payments sector. Proven record of providing consulting experience to GB/EU asset/or fund managers is an advantage. Strong understanding of the trends and developments within the UK asset/fund management sectors. CISI Diploma in investment compliance or equivalent relevant certifications/qualifications are highly desirable. In-house or seconded experience within a UK/Irish regulated financial services institution is desirable as well.
