Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Installer on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in passive fire protection. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and well-established company that takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of fire doors in residential and commercial settings (new build and refurb projects)
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards (BM TRADA, FIRAS, etc.)
- Measuring, fitting, and adjusting doors and ironmongery to meet fire rating specifications
- Conducting remedial works where required
- Completing installation reports and documentation to a high standard
- Liaising with site supervisors and project managers to ensure smooth job delivery
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer
- Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and passive fire protection systems
- Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry or Joinery
- BM TRADA / FIRAS accreditation (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools and PPE
- Good communication skills and professional attitude
