Overview: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Door Installer on behalf of our client, a leading specialist in passive fire protection. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional and well-established company that takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of fire doors in residential and commercial settings (new build and refurb projects)
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards (BM TRADA, FIRAS, etc.)
  • Measuring, fitting, and adjusting doors and ironmongery to meet fire rating specifications
  • Conducting remedial works where required
  • Completing installation reports and documentation to a high standard
  • Liaising with site supervisors and project managers to ensure smooth job delivery
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Door Installer
  • Strong knowledge of fire door regulations and passive fire protection systems
  • Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Carpentry or Joinery
  • BM TRADA / FIRAS accreditation (preferred but not essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own tools and PPE
  • Good communication skills and professional attitude
