North Oxford Garage is looking for a Workshop Controller.

Your role

Alongside the Workshop Manager, you will have full responsibility for driving the performance of our team of Technicians and will be expected to manage workshop loading, utilisation, quality of work, efficiency, and productivity to ensure we maximise our labour sales targets. In addition, you will also be required to assist with customer road tests and provide technical customer support, so excellent communication skills and an unrivalled passion for delivering unprecedented levels of customer service to both external and internal customers will be key.

Our dealerships boast state-of-the-art facilities, equipment and technology in the workshop. If you believe you have the skills and experience for this demanding role, we would really love to hear from you.

Your profile

To be successful, previous experience within the motor industry in a similar role is essential as you will need to be skilled in all aspects of running a high volume, fast-paced prestige Workshop with a large team of Technicians. It is essential that you have previous experience within the automotive industry. Training is provided through our dedicated in-house Learning & Development team and outstanding manufacturer courses run by BMW to support your career. Ideally, you will have excellent organisational and administrative skills along with good attention to detail. A strong technical background would be beneficial as you will be delivering high levels of customer satisfaction in a very busy and demanding environment. Working knowledge of Kerridge would be advantageous, but not essential.
