Forseven, a revolutionary company is looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our highly skilled and dynamic Central Finance Team. This role will be reporting into the Head of Financial Control.
The role will operate in a hybrid capacity from our planned Bicester location and our office in Leamington where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field. Responsibilities
- Own month end processes, supporting the Head of Financial Control to deliver timely and accurate consolidated financial reports.
- Apply consolidation principles that take account of our intrinsically complex and unique structure.
- Work closely with the Finance Business Partners to validate reported numbers, and provide insight to support analysis of variances to Forecast.
- Prepare and reconcile supporting information for Balance Sheet accounts, highlighting, investigating and resolving any issues.
- Provide technical accounting advice to the business.
- Own and deliver on internal and external audit requests in a timely manner, and support the preparation of year end statutory accounts.
- Use the principles of continuous improvement to establish new ways of working and making best use of systems to drive efficiencies, quality and robustness of reporting and processes as the business grows.
Who You Are
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong understanding and experience applying advanced accounting and reporting concepts such as: revenue and cost recognition, intangibles, mergers & acquisitions, consolidation.
- Experience in accounting practice, audit, corporate finance, investment banking or private equity backed company desirable but not required.
- Driven and logical thinker.
- Personable and approachable individual with experience building effective working relationships.
- Passionate about finding resourceful solutions to new challenges. Willing to roll up sleeves, adapt to change and deliver at pace.
