We are looking for a qualified legal adviser to undertake the role of Housing Management Lawyer within our Legal team. You will be a high-achieving individual, capable of managing your own caseload and making decisions to support our day to day operations. You will work alongside the Head of Legal and provide housing management and litigation services, including where appropriate training.
You will be a qualified housing solicitor, barrister or chartered legal executive with several years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). You will have expert level experience of providing advice and interpreting legal issues in relation to the housing sector and be a specialist in this area of legal practice. We are looking for someone who is confident, with sound judgement and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
You will be working from one of our offices a minimum of three days per week to connect and collaborate with colleagues and the other two days can be worked from at a place of your choosing whether that’s at another of our offices, a cafe or at home. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and looking for a new challenge to work in a varied role.
You will work alongside and support other legal professionals as part of a new team and you will lead the housing management practice, working on complex housing related matters, including but not limited to, anti-social behaviour, housing management, disrepair, leasehold management and income management. The role is at the heart of the business, offering advice and guidance in a hardworking and fast-paced environment.
