The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
As a Dealership Accountant, you will produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and balance sheets for the Dealership, including franchise-specific consolidation packs. You will prepare management reports on a periodic and ad hoc basis as requested.
Your responsibilities include liaising with the Senior Financial staff to ensure they are fully aware of all financial issues, preparing and submitting the Manufacturers Composite data, and assisting the operational management in the preparation of necessary reports and data. You will work closely with the Line Managers to help enhance their performances.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the retail automotive industry, good IT skills, and a sound knowledge of Excel and Dealer Management Systems. Experience of working in a robust, well-controlled financial environment is essential, along with the ability to prioritise workloads efficiently and effectively.
You will deliver results in a timely fashion, with the ability to work on your own initiative. High levels of accuracy and attention to detail are required, as well as strong team leadership and supervisory skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial staff are also important.
Building a strong relationship with management and driving ongoing process improvement is key, along with a flexible approach to working hours in line with the needs of the business. A company car is provided in addition to salary.
Note: Only candidates with previous motor retail experience will be considered for this position.
