The Project Officer Support role is in the friendly Warrington Safeguarding Partnership Team, which is part of the Families and Wellbeing Directorate, based at Warrington Borough Council. The role holder will be answerable to the Safeguarding Partnership Team Manager.

We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to play a key role in supporting our team. This role would suit an ambitious individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working within the Safeguarding Partnerships Team to support the management and coordination of multi-agency safeguarding arrangements. You will work collaboratively and be required to foster relationships with other members of the team and with a wide range of partners both internal and multi-agency, to support the implementation of local strategic safeguarding priorities.

You will manage communications, including social media and website updates. You will provide day-to-day administrative support and assist in the development, co-ordination and the delivery of project and implementation plans across the multi-agency safeguarding arrangements and across varied workstreams. As you grow in confidence, we will support your ambitions, helping you to gain the experience to further springboard your career.

What’s needed?

  • Experience of providing support to complex projects.
  • Experience of communicating with a variety of levels within an organisation, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of utilising effective information systems and analysing complex data.
  • Experience of assisting with report preparation, collation of information and presentation to a variety of audiences.
