To support our continued growth, we are building a high-performing team at our Advanced Pump Design and Manufacturing Facility in Leeds, and we’re seeking a motivated and skilled Project Scheduling Team Leader to play a key role in our success.
As a Project Scheduling Team Leader, you will oversee the scheduling team and ensure that project schedules align with customer delivery requirements. Utilising Microsoft Project and SAP, you will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of projects on time.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities- Lead and inspire the Project Scheduling Team, managing performance through 1:1s, appraisals, and reviews.
- Oversee and optimise project schedules, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, production plans, and supply chain constraints.
- Chair planning and scheduling meetings, communicate priorities across departments, and collaborate with clients to meet delivery commitments.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and lead On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance initiatives.
- Identify and manage critical project paths, proposing solutions to mitigate delays and enhance efficiency.
- Demonstrated expertise in project planning and scheduling.
- Solid experience in a complex engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and familiarity with scheduling and production planning modules.
- Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership abilities with proven success in team management.
