We are looking for a business support assistant who’ll champion those values and be one of those all-important first points of contact.
The role is a full-time post, working in our city centre office where you’ll report to the facilities manager. The duties for this office-based role include:
- Greeting and welcoming clients and visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Answering and forwarding calls and email enquiries, and managing the general mailbox.
- Servicing meeting rooms to an agreed standard, including maintaining the centralised diary and arranging catering when required.
- Ensuring that health and safety, hygiene, and hospitality resources are well-maintained and readily available.
- Maintaining relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Overseeing a fully trained team of fire wardens and first aid personnel, and managing emergency contact data.
- Handling general administrative tasks, such as travel and booking arrangements and stationary inventory.
- Supporting the HR team with tasks such as recording absences, training trackers and staff inductions, as well as providing support for firm-wide initiatives.
We are looking for an all-rounder, someone who can demonstrate:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Outlook and Windows Office.
- A well-organised approach, all the while maintaining a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- A full, UK driving licence, though this isn’t essential.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work well in a team.
