We are looking for a Production Operative to join the Batch Preparation team based in Middlewich, Cheshire East. As a member of the team, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of batch preparation, ensuring EHS and Quality standards are maintained and production targets are met.

The Batch Preparation team are based in a Warehouse in Middlewich, Cheshire East, and are responsible for checking and receiving materials, picking materials and batch prepping within controlled areas.
About the role
- To work within the company policies/procedures and to ensure individual and collective Health & Safety is achieved.
- Receiving, checking, and sampling of raw materials within a controlled environment.
- Picking and preparing raw materials from designated drop area and batch prepping within controlled areas as detailed on paperwork.
- Preparing outbound dispatches, including preparing pallet labels for batches ready for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Receipting on of raw materials returned to stock.
- Reporting of any damages or non-conforming materials or equipment.
- Attention to detail i.e. check articles, lot numbers, raw material bag weights and quantities.
- Preparing manifest paperwork for delivery to Production team.
- Movement of pallets in a safe and controlled manner.
What you’ll need
- Enthusiastic, with a keen interest in food processing.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good IT systems knowledge.
- Experience and understanding to lead/comply with our EHS and Quality policies.
