Krinkels UK delivers grounds maintenance services for local authorities and housing associations maintaining parks and green open spaces. Our aim is to provide sustainable outcomes for the local communities in which we work through our commitment, experience and innovative service delivery.

We have a number of opportunities to join us working outdoors undertaking such duties as grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub pruning, flower and shrub planting and associated tasks. If you have experience of working outdoors, grounds maintenance or horticulture, or an interest in getting involved in managing green spaces we would welcome your application.

Key Responsibilities
  • General horticultural maintenance duties including using hand tools and mechanical horticultural equipment.
  • Sweeping, litter picking and emptying litter and dog waste bins.
  • Digging, forking, hoeing, weeding, pruning and mulching.
  • Grass mowing including using pedestrian mowers, strimmers and blowers.
  • Hedge cutting, pruning of shrubs and roses.
  • Assist with planting and maintaining annual flower bedding.
  • Assist with the planting and staking of trees.
  • Prepare and plant shrubberies and rose beds.
  • Prepare ground for turf laying and lay turf.
  • Assist with gardens unlocking/locking when necessary.
  • DBS check required for working in certain areas, or around vulnerable people.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork (vehicle and machinery details, time sheets etc.) correctly and submit as required within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are handled, utilised and stored within Company guidelines and that full attention is paid to all aspects of Health & Safety.
  • Sports Pitch Marking.
  • Ditch Works.
  • Ensure that all public toilets are in good condition and report any faults.
  • Enforce byelaws.
  • Adhere to all Continental Landscapes Environmental, HR, Fleet, IT, Phone, Health and Safety, Equality Diversity and Inclusion policies and procedures.
  • Post holder may also be required to undertake other related duties not listed in this Job Description from time to time according to the needs of the business.
