Role Overview: We are seeking a Support Worker to join our exceptional team based in Coventry. We need someone with the passion and determination to go the extra mile to create a home that everyone truly deserves. This includes creating a space brimming with activity, new experiences, and, most importantly, fun and laughter.
You will be fully supported in your new role with a comprehensive induction programme and ongoing development. This role is both rewarding and challenging, requiring strong commitment to our values and the ability to handle difficult situations with resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- To promote and adhere to the workplace values of Dignus Group (Resilience, Courage, Integrity, Respect, Confidence and Innovation).
- Complete key domestic duties on a day-to-day basis that ensures a homely environment is maintained.
- To promote, safeguard and protect the welfare of each Person we Support.
- Establish and maintain positive and trusting relationships with the People we Support.
- Manage behaviour positively and assertively by working in line with specified care and risk assessment management plans.
- Encourage the development of individual interests and attitudes by planning, organising and participating in activities.
- A desire to learn; we provide training and apprenticeships for you to achieve your full potential.
Successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check at enhanced level. A good standard of written and verbal English.
