We are seeking a creative individual to facilitate effective two-way communication between Thames Valley Police and its internal and external audiences. The role involves supporting the development, use, and analysis of our digital channels. As a subject matter expert, you will train and support users across the force, as well as plan and create high-quality digital content. If you possess advanced video skills and can craft engaging content for various channels, this position offers an opportunity to enhance the force’s digital presence and strategies through evaluation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage digital content for internal and external audiences.
  • Train and support staff in digital channel use.
  • Evaluate digital strategies and implement improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Recognized qualification in digital/social media, communications, journalism, or relevant experience.
  • Experience in filming and video editing, preferably with Premiere Pro, and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Experience using social media to engage target audiences and explore new communication channels.
  • Knowledge of media law.
  • Understanding of evaluation methods and statistical analysis for data interpretation and recommendations.
