At GBS, we are seeking a multifaceted and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Pensions Systems Department. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving growth, efficiency, and operational excellence within our organization.

In the role of Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for aligning business requirements with technology implementation, playing a vital part in projects that craft the future of our UK outsourcing business.

How you will make an impact:

  • Lead the analysis of sophisticated business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to aid in strategic decision-making and planning.
  • Define and implement scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead a portfolio of projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with business needs.
  • Mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated ability as a Business Analyst with extensive knowledge of methodologies and standard processes.
  • Proven history of managing software development projects and leading teams with diverse functions.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in UK pensions administration and familiarity with third-party administration systems is a plus.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and driven to deliver high-quality results.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.

Travel: Occasional travel within the UK required.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • SQL proficiency and familiarity with enterprise application architecture.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and tools.
