The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Implement and maintain a planned servicing and preventative maintenance program across the site. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns. Respond quickly to breakdowns and complete repairs efficiently while considering production schedules. Perform preventative maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery. Identify and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Assess whether repairs can be completed in-house or if replacement is necessary, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the Maintenance Lead to source necessary materials from approved suppliers at the best price. Keep production cell leaders informed of repair progress and estimated completion times. Communicate effectively with the Production Manager regarding major equipment failures and required downtime for maintenance.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and assist in implementing company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate servicing and maintenance records. Manage coolant supply to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Flexibility & Continuous Improvement: Be available for overtime when required to maximize equipment uptime. Continuously look for ways to improve maintenance processes and reduce machine downtime. Perform additional tasks as required, within reason and capability, as agreed with the Production Manager.
