As a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician, your purpose is to provide high quality scheduled and unplanned/reactive maintenance across the blow moulding site. Actively identify root cause and bring the equipment back into service as quickly as possible as well as seeking and identifying cost effective improvements to site assets and equipment, improving efficiency and reliability.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure that you are conversant with all drawing Electrical, Pneumatic and Mechanical.
- Basic automation skills for fault finding and remediation, strong electrical skills HNC equivalent, sound mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement.
- Diligently complete all maintenance tasks, PM, CBM, CI and corrective. Contribute to FMEA activities when required.
- Identify & implement Improvements.
What we’re looking for:
- Completion of a recognised apprenticeship.
- HNC Electrical preferred, Mechanical with additional electrical qualification or competence.
- Automation – CI tools and techniques would be advantageous.
- Experience within maintenance.
- Manufacturing Industry Experience.
- ONC/HNC.
