The Manufacturing Engineering Placement Student will work in an agile Manufacturing Engineering team enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio and providing technical support for 12 months. The role includes supporting operations output through continuous improvement and the introduction of new processes and equipment, input and preparation for NPI, supply and quality improvement, and support for customer queries and production technical support.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting in September 2025 and will be based full-time onsite at OI Andor, Springvale Business Park, Belfast.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Will have successfully completed the 2nd year of a BEng honours degree or Masters (or equivalent) in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics by summer 2025.
  • Are available to start placement in September 2025.
  • Are hungry to learn and innovate.
  • Are excellent team players and communicators.
  • Are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.
