We’re looking for an experienced Team Manager to join us as a back-office Payments Team Manager. This role is to engage, motivate, and inspire your team to deliver great customer outcomes. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and we value great people, so you’ll spend the majority of your time liaising between the team and our process experts to deliver good customer outcomes.
What you’ll do:
- Manage, engage, and motivate a home-based team of 6 associates in our Payment Resolution team.
- Identify improvements that will support your team and department progression, whilst empowering your team to adopt this mind-set.
- Collaborate with other areas of the business to deliver on Payment Modernization and transform the Payment Resolution teams BAU processes.
- Support the containment and resolution of events which have a direct impact on the team.
- Daily approval of outgoing payments and reconciliation journaling.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience managing a back-office team in a work from home environment.
- A solid understanding of financial regulations and payments processing or change management.
- Ability to identify and recommend solutions to improve processes and operational practice.
- A great communicator who is able to build trusted relationships with their team and stakeholders within the business.
- Ability to manage your own workload whilst balancing the needs of your team and demonstrating resilience.
Where and how you’ll work:
This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office. We have a hybrid working model, so you’ll be based in our office 2 days a week on either a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
