As a Lead AV Field Technician, you will be leading a team of AV Technicians on Installation Projects. Working as part of the EOS team providing AV solutions and services on site interfacing with the designated client in line with the customer requirements and service level agreement.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the Installation and de-installation of AV/Telepresence products.
- Configuration of endpoints and infrastructure.
- Preparation of room audits ensuring technology can work at optimum level.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and room is ready for use.
- Identify defective/failed equipment and provide solutions.
- Complete Post Installation Assessments.
- Perform on-site User Acceptance testing.
- Install software upgrades.
- Act as a point of escalation for technical issues and provide solutions for ongoing faults.
- Communicate with management team throughout the day, as it relates to assignments.
- Project reporting and updating.
- Document and report hardware failures; manage Break/Fix and RMA requests as needed.
- Supervise, instruct, and assist with rack building processes.
- Travel to customer sites nationally as required.
- Experience leading teams of AV Technicians or Engineers.
- Experience terminating, configuring, and programming at least one of the following types of equipment: Extron, Cisco, Crestron, and/or AMX.
- Ability to read and understand plans to ensure everything is done correctly and perform any additional configuration required.
- Similar experience working on AV/VC integrations.
- Agile and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.
- Responsive, efficient, with excellent customer interaction and a high level of professionalism.
- Intrigued by difficult tech problems, welcoming the challenge.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment under pressure.
