About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Support Engineer to join our expert team. In this role, you’ll provide advanced support for our networking solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure reliable connectivity for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network support, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service as standard.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Manage client support tickets, requests, and tasks
- Utilise network management tools to support client networks
- Manage vendor TAC cases
- Implement standard network provisioning tasks to fulfil customer requests
- Monitor SLAs & ensure client tickets are actioned and updated
- Manage customer escalations
- Support Client – Ethernet and WiFi LANs & WANs, routers, switches, firewalls
- Participate in an Out of Hours On-call rota
This is a multidiscipline role requiring hands-on technical & fault management capabilities.

- Strong knowledge of network principles in a support environment
- Working knowledge and accreditation for Juniper, Cisco or Fortinet
- IP Addressing & DHCP
- BGP, OSPF, NAT & PAT
- Routing & Switching
- QOS implementation and troubleshooting
- IPSec VPN configuration & management
- MPLS & SD WAN knowledge
- Tools – LogicMonitor, Observium, PRTG & Solarwinds
Desirable
- F5 experience
- Palo Alto experience
- Cisco Meraki experience
- MS Azure Networking
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment
