Howden - Corporate & Commercial are seeking a Senior Client Executive to support their team. The role will be responsible for supporting our Group Contents cover via partnerships in the Education sector, specifically focused on student accommodation providers. This role will involve direct relationship management with B2B partners, including working collaboratively with our service provider to deliver an exceptional service for our customers. This role will also include collaboration across strong internal and external relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure success.
Please note this is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Overview:
- Ongoing account management and renewal for our existing whole portfolio.
- Effectively managing relationships with key decision makers within our partnerships such as Heads of Accommodation and Directors of Estates.
- Effectively managing relationships with external service provider.
- Exceeding annual targets.
- Engaging regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Day to day account management of our clients including responsibility for the renewal of accounts.
- Regular client meetings held with each partner.
- Delivering a cross sell strategy.
- Supporting with our conference strategy.
- Travel to partner meetings and attend client promotional events with the month of September being extremely busy for these events.
Knowledge:
- Experience of working within the Education sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Experience in the University and/or accommodation sector would be an advantage but not essential.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand people and build rapport, adapt styles of communication accordingly.
- Ability to exceed individual targets and deadlines as defined by the business plan.
- Multi-tasking and organisational skills with attention to detail, quick assessment and effective workload prioritisation.
- The ability to manage your own diary, working to tight deadlines with accuracy of work.
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
