Due to an increase in workload, we are now seeking an Electro Mechanical Fitter to work in our rotating machinery business based in Aberdeen.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

  • Inspect and disassemble rotating machines both LV & HV
  • Carry out inspections, overhauls & repairs of various motors that have been used in explosive atmospheres
  • Accurately assess and observe damage and wear on AC/DC electric motors and other machines
  • Ensure quality control and technical compliance in accordance with project requirements
  • Submit daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time

Qualifications and Experience

  • Hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, either C&G or NVQ equivalent
  • Have previous experience within an Electro-Mechanical environment
  • Experience with rotating equipment as well as root cause analysis and measuring
  • Be able to travel for short durations as and when required for specific site work and offshore scopes
  • Previous or current AEMT training course preferred but not essential
