Director of Sport

The Cathedral School Llandaff, Cardiff’s leading independent school for girls and boys, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Director of Sport to provide excellent strategic and operational leadership of our outstanding Sports Faculty, from January 2026 . The post holder will have responsibility for all sport at the School, ensuring a continuum of development from infants through to senior levels, and will teach Games at all levels. The successful candidate will be a talented sports player and outstanding coach, who can lead our first team in at least one, and preferably two or more sports. They must be an able and enthusiastic teacher with high level organisational, leadership and interpersonal skills. They should have an enthusiasm for the development of coaching across the age range and an understanding of the part sport plays within the busy life of the school.
