Responsibilities You will be responsible for the implementation and delivery of mechanical services (advice, design, project administration and maintenance) to the Council and its service departments and to external agencies. This includes aiding in the delivery of asset decarbonisation and assisting in the expansion of existing heat networks through the implementation of the Local Area Energy Plan (LAEP). The post holder will also lead and coordinate a team of professional/technical staff in managing departmental policies and procedures. The Individual You should have relevant experience in the design and implementation of architectural/building construction projects, project and staff management, AutoCAD skills, project management including budgeting, partnering, project programming, and familiarity with JCT forms of contract. An understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Word, and Excel are essential. Effective time management, negotiation skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and clients are required. You should have up-to-date knowledge of technical standards and statutory requirements, along with presentation skills.
