Water Treatment Operative

Water Treatment Operative, London / Home Counties, £25-30k plus over time

My client is a water treatment service provider, looking to expand and develop their team. They are currently seeking an experienced Water Treatment Operative.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Cleaning/Chlorination of Cooling Towers/Tanks.
2. Water Sampling – Domestics and BG50.
3. Closed system testing (not essential).
4. Chemical Dosing of the closed systems.
5. TMV servicing.
6. Temperature Checks.
7. Log Book completion.

They are looking for somebody to work Tuesday to Saturday, as many jobs need to be carried out on Saturdays; however, Saturday is usually not a full day. Staff are expected to be at their first site for 8.30am and leave their last job between 2.30pm and 3.00pm.

As they build the team, they will alternate the Tuesday to Saturday working between the teams.

They will provide a company van, phone, and soon they will be digitizing the systems; many of the reports will then be done via a tablet.

A full and clean driving licence is required. The successful candidate will cover from London to the Home Counties (up to 60 minutes travel from London).
