The Role:
- Providing a customer-focused service, supporting young care leavers.
- Working in a building with a number of self-contained flats.
- Conducting a full needs assessment at the point of referral into the service to establish the nature of support required.
- Adopting a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to build trust with the young individuals.
- Supporting and assisting young people to build resilience and overcome barriers.
- Maintaining and updating support activities, signposting changes.
- Ensuring health & safety and property standards are maintained and working effectively as a team member delivering excellent services to the residents.
- Ensuring your relationships with colleagues and external agencies are effective and professional, contributing to the Association’s values, culture, and ethos.
- Direct experience working within a young person’s service is preferable but not essential.
Hours:
37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 and 12:00 – 20:00
