Job Title – Stores Person – Transport, Installation and Storage

Job Location – Hertfordshire

Salary – £25k

Our client is recruiting a Stores Person to undertake work in connection with delivery and handling of bespoke art.

Responsibilities include:

1. Taking delivery of goods, using forklifts where required.
2. Ensuring goods are checked off accurately and timely, checking for damages and quantity.
3. Updating the company computer system to maintain accurate stock levels of art.
4. Storing bespoke art after deliveries and preparing art for collection and deliveries.
5. Assisting with stock checks as required and maintaining a clean and tidy store.

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

• Experience in unloading and loading lorries and putting stock away.
• Loading goods into store lifts.
• Minimum of two years\’ experience in a similar role involving store work, driving, and yard responsibilities, or equivalent experience.
• Computer literate with knowledge of stock systems.
• Experience in stock movement, including driving counterbalance fork trucks, using stackers, and pallet trucks.
• A Forklift licence (Desirable).
