Overview

Betting Office Trainee Assistant Manager role at Marquis Surveys Limited. Chisholm Bookmakers is a family run business established in the 1950s, with 34 betting shops located throughout the North East of England and Cumbria. The successful candidate will work a minimum of 20 hours per week in our betting shops based in the Blyth Valley Area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the shop and marketing of products and services to the highest possible standards.
• Supervise staff when managing the shop to ensure the smooth running of the office.
• Be proactive, learn new skills, and commit to providing the very best customer service.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, including underage gambling/Think 25 and responsible gambling and self-exclusion guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Well motivated, able to work flexibly, and willing to contribute as part of the management team.
• A pro-active mindset with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Benefits

• Starting pay £12.48 per hour, rising to £12.68 after training.
